St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Blotter

On April 11, Tribal Police arrested Adam M. Ortiz, 30, of Hogansburg on a active warrant for making a terroristic threat, a class D felony. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

DWI - On April 1, Tribal Police ticketed Lacey A. Thompson, 30, of Massena or driving while intoxicated and fail to keep right. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on April 19.

Speeding - On April 2 Tribal Police ticketed John Chinnery, 54 of Cornwall, Ontario. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on April 25. On April 7, Tribal Police ticketed Jessie A. Smoke, 26, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on April 25.

Trespassing - On April 4, Tribal Police ticketed James P. Cornelius, age and hometown not reported, for trespassing. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on April 26.

Bench warrant - On April 4, Tribal Police arrested Richard P. Herne, 32, of Hogansburg on a active bench warrant. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and given a return date of April 5.

Inadequate lights - On April 4, Tribal Police ticketed Kyle J. Skidders, 19, of Akwesasne, Ontario for inadequate headlight and unlicensed operation and

Vincent C. Mitchell, 40, of Rooseveltown for inadequate headlight. On April 5, Tribal Police ticketed Howard J. Grutton, 61, of Constable for inadequate taillight. On April 6, Tribal Police ticketed Jonathan S. Foster, 25, of Malone for inadequate headlight.

AUO - On April 7, Tribal Police ticketed Michelle L. Martin, 42, of Akwesasne, ON, for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and fail to stop at stop sign. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on May 3.

IMPAIRED OPERATION,

OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Corey Bigtree-Thompson, 26, of Hogansburg, was arrested on April 9th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on April 9th, 2016 Bigtree-Thompson was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Pitt Street and Second Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2016.
