Resisting arrest, criminal mischief, DWI: On Sept. 13, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Peter Clute, 44, of Hogansburg and charged him with resisting arrest class, fourth-degree criminal mischief class and driving while intoxicated, all misdemeanors, as well as fail to use designated lane, refusal to take breath test, disorderly conduct and unlicensed driver. Clute also had an open warrant for his arrest on unrelated charges. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and is to return Sept. 22.

Assault: On Sept. 11, Tribal Police charged Joseph J. Jacobs, 52, of Hogansburg NY for third-degree assault class, misdemeanor. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 20.

Menacing: On Sept. 17, Tribal Police ticketed Brian A. Lazore, 38, of Hogansburg for third-degree menacing, misdemeanor. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Sept. 29.

AUO: On Sept. 11, Tribal Police ticketed Lois M. Tarbell, 38, of Hogansburg for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Sept. 29. On Sept. 11, Tribal Police ticketed Trish D. Keese, 38, of Hogansburg for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed driver. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 6.

Speeding: On Sept. 12, Tribal Police ticketed Enrique Rodriguez, 25, of Massena. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Sept. 28. On Sept. 12, Tribal Police ticketed Brandon J. Benedict, 25, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 5. On Sept. 14, Tribal Police ticketed Valen K. Timmons, 28, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Sept. 29. On Sept. 14, Tribal Police ticketed Taylor D. Cole, 22, of Akwesasne, Ontario, also citing unlicensed operation, uninsured vehicle and unregistered vehicle. Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 5.

Inadequate headlights: On Sept. 13, Tribal Police ticketed Keith A. Patrick, 38, of Massena. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Sept .28.

Using a cell phone while driving: On Sept. 15, Tribal Police ticketed Casey M. Oakes, 22, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 12.

Arrest warrant: On Sept. 15, Tribal Police charged Gerald J. Jacobs, 74, of Hogansburg on a warrant. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and given a return date of Oct. 20.

Inadequate taillights: On Sept. 15, Tribal Police ticketed Joseph M. Mitchell, 34, of Snye, Quebec. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 12.

DWI: On Sept. 16, Tribal Police ticketed Elisha M. Thompson, 25, of St. Regis, Quebec for driving while intoxicated, misdemeanor and fail to use designated lane. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 13.

Bench warrant: On Sept. 17, Tribal Police arrested Ariwiio L. Swamp, 24, of Hogansburg. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and given a return date of Oct. 13.

IMPAIRED

Cornwall, ON – Justin Square, age 19, of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on September 18, 2015. Square was located by police with the assistance of the public after he left the scene of an accident in the area of Ninth Street and Sydney Street. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Square was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Refuse to Provide a Breath Sample, Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
