Salary Range: RNO 2 -$72,143.05
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Program Manager as part of the Management team, the Director of Care is responsible for the management and leadership of all aspects of resident care services and promoting and fostering the Resident Centered Model of Care.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario; an RN with a B.S.N. preferred
AND Post-RN education in gerontology OR 3 years relevant experience in working with persons in long term care which include diploma or certificate courses such as those offered at community colleges,
AND Post-RN education in management or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in management
AND a minimum of 5 years demonstrated work care setting and management in a long term care setting or nursing home industry OR extensive work experience in a clinical management role will be considered.
