PERMENENT FULL-TIME POSITION IETHINISTEN:HA- AKWESASNE FAMILY WELLNESS PROGRAM

 


Salary Level: HS 09 - $37,389.83-

$38,885.43

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Program

Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible

for the facilitation, planning, organizing

and conducting of Outreach activities,

education and support groups.

Also responsible for client monitoring

within the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University Degree in Social field or a

2 year Social Service Worker diploma

or equivalent diploma with three (3)

years work experience working with

women, men and children in crisis.

Experience in mental health and addictions

certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor

ICADC is an asset.

The incumbent should have excellent

oral and written communication skills,

the ability to work independently at

times. Work in crisis situations; work

as a member of a team. Must be able

to perform on call duties as required

to meet the program requirements of

the 24 hour facility or as required by

the program manager; The ability to

speak the Mohawk language, and have

knowledge and understanding of Akwesasne

community values and traditions

is considered an asset.
