SECOND ANNUAL AKWESASNE MASTERS CUP BOX LACROSSE TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD AUGUST 22 & 23

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that the Department of Tehotiiennawakon will be hosting the 2nd annual Akwesasne Masters Cup Box Lacrosse Championship Tournament on August 22 and 23, 2015.

The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

• Saturday, August 22: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

• Sunday, August 23: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The prices for access passes are as follows:

• Weekend pass: $25

• Daily pass: $20

• Pass per game: $5

*Children under 10 years of age are free*

The teams that are entered to participate in the tournament are the Kahnawake Rapids, Jobu’s Medicine Men, Mann’s Master, Canton Dirty Birds, Akwesasne Masters, and the Onondaga Redhawks Masters.

For vendors interested in attending the tournament, please pick up an application at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena or download it off of their official Facebook page. Food/Manufacture Products/Craft vendors will be charged $50/day or $75/weekend; Not-for-profit vendors will be charged $25/day. Please make all checks payable to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.
