Police Week 2015 is May 20th at the St. Regis Rec

Please join the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, and the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Department in the 2015 Police Week-“Building Community Partnerships” on the grounds of the St. Regis Recreation on Wednesday, May 20th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

There will be a free BBQ, Power Wheels Races for children up to the age of 7 inside the Rec, and Lacrosse in the Box with the police behind the AMPS Station. Come see who will have the hardest shot.

Rain date for the event will be Thursday, May 21st, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (TBD).

Don’t forget to charge your Power Wheels in advance.

Police officers will be present to answer questions from the community. As well, a number of police vehicles will be on site – giving the public a rare chance to jump into the driver’s seat of a police cruiser!

Police Week is dedicated to increasing community awareness and recognition of policing services while strengthening police-community ties.
