Kraft Foods is recalling 242,000 cases of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese because some

of the boxes may contain metal. More than 6.5 million boxes were packed in the recalled cases. Consumers who purchased this product should not eat it.

The recall only applies to the 7.25-ounce boxes of the original flavor with a “use by” date of September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015. Only Mac & Cheese with the code “C2” on its packaging is in danger of contained accidental bits of metal. The recalled boxes were sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico and some Caribbean and South American countries, but not in Canada.
