Felony DWI: On Jan. 30, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Richard D. Piper, 38, of Akwesasne, N.Y. for a class D felony counts of driving while intoxicated and operate motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level .08 of 1 percent or more and a class E felony count of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was also ticketed for unlicensed driver and fail to use designated lane. A class D felony count of DWI means the suspect has at least two DWI convictions within the last 10 years. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released with orders to return on Feb. 10.

Leaving the scene of an accident: On Feb. 3, Tribal Police ticketed Jasmine S. David, 18, of Akwesasne, N.Y., also charging her with fail to use due care to avoid pedestrian/bike/animal. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Feb. 24.

Arrest warrants: On Jan. 30, Tribal Police arrested Sierra Johnson-Sunday, 26, of Hogansburg on an active warrant. She was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released under probationary supervision with orders to return Feb. 17. On Feb. 3, Tribal Police arrested Jason H. Cole, 29, of Hogansburg. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released with orders to to reappear on March 10.

No inspection: On Jan. 30, Tribal Police ticketed Dylan R. Adams, 31, of Ft. Covington. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23.

Disorderly Conduct: On Jan. 31, Tribal Police charged Joseph V. Lavare, 25, of Bombay. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and ordered to return on Feb. 17. On Feb. 2, Tribal Police arrested Ernest M.L. Cree, 30, of Hogansburg. He was released with an appearance ticket returnable to Bombay Town Court on Feb. 17.

Speeding: On Jan. 31, Tribal Police ticketed Michael B. Gushlaw, 37, of Hastings for allegedly going 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23. On Feb. 1, Tribal Police ticketed Andrew P. Vincelette, 36, of Rouses Point NY for allegedly going 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23. On Feb. 1, Tribal Police ticketed Christopher J. Gardner, 30, of Williston, Vt. for allegedly going 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23. On Feb. 2, Tribal Police ticketed Phillip L. Preston, 40, of Akwesasne, N.Y. for allegedly going 48 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23.

Inadequate taillights: On Feb. 2, Tribal Police Ticketed Susan M. Wood, 45, of Massena. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23.

Following too close: On Feb. 3, Tribal Police ticketed Lorna Thomas, age not available, of Akwesasne, Ontario. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23.

Inadequate stop lights: On Feb. 3, Tribal Police ticketed Monserrate Ortiz, 30, of Hogansburg. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Feb. 23.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Starr Hill, 24, of Akwesasne was arrested on February 7th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on March 29th, 2011 the woman failed to attend court for a dangerous driving charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On February 7th, 2015 Hill was taken into custody during a traffic stop on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
