Akwesasne's local pool league, under the American Cue Sports Alliance, are getting ready to send fourteen of their best pool players to the National Championship in Las Vegas in May 2015. From May 9th to the 15th, fourteen pool players will shoot in a variety of matches, including; 8 Ball, 9 Ball, Singles, Doubles, or as part of a team in three different levels of Standard, Open and Advanced.

They plan to hold future tournaments as well as a 50/50 raffle and a Super Bowl Squares raffle to fund their trip to the Nationals. 25% of tournament proceeds go directly to the Akwesasne Pool League fundraising efforts and the other 75% is prize money and goes to winners.
They recently held a tournament at 37 West with Mohawk Express taking first place and Snye Bums capturing second place.
