The Department of Technical Services would like to advise the residents of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Territory, Districts of Kana:takon, Tsi Snaihne, and Kawehno:ke that the regular household solid waste collection program will not be in operation on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, nor on Jan. 1, New Year’s Day.

There will be a regular collection on Dec. 26, Boxing Day,  for Kawehnoke District.

Because both Dec. 25th and Jan. 1st are on Thursdays, and the regular collection site is the district of Tsi Snaihne, for these two dates, only the District of Tsi Snaihne will be collected on Monday, Dec. 22, and again on Monday, Dec 29.

The regular collection cycle will continue there after.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this holiday season and best wishes to all.
