Joseph's Fine Jewelry Holds Grand Opening

On Friday, December 12, Joseph's Fine Jewelry, located in the Akwesasne Trading Post, held its grand opening. They opened a couple of weeks before, but celebrated the opening on Friday with hourly drawings and a fabulous door prize of a Pandora bracelet. They gave away Pandora ornaments, bags and purses, and offered refreshments to patrons.

Joseph's has a huge selection of Pandora charms, over 600.

"We have a variety of jewelry for any budget with no sales tax," said David Mainville, who owns Joseph's along with Joey Cappione.

Joseph's carries gold; white and yellow, silver, turquoise, and have a huge selection of Pandora charms, over 600. They have a Facets line, which is equal in quality to Tiffany's, and keeping it local, they also have a line of jewelry made by Don Cook from Akwesasne, who can also do custom pieces and repairs. Joseph's other jeweler is Mark Paquette from Massena, so bring in a picture and Joseph's can create a custom piece for you. They also carry some accessories like watches, scarfs, pens, ties, and lighters.

Their hours right now are Monday through Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday noon to 5pm.

Joseph's offers gift wrapping, and will be open on Christmas Eve from 10am to 8pm for all you last minute shoppers!
