Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police blotter through Oct. 2:

Third-degree criminal mischief - Tribal police say they arrested Noah I. Mitchell, 32, of Hogansburg around 12:59 a.m. Sept. 29 and charged him with felony third-degree criminal mischief. They say he was also charged with misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test, as well as traffic infractions of unsafe passing on the left and speeding. Mitchell was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of bail. He was to have reappeared on Sept. 30.

Third-degree assault - On Sept. 29, Tribal Police arrested Clayton F. Martin, 18, of Hogansburg and charged him with the misdemeanor offense. He was released with an appearance ticket.

Inadequate brake lights - Tribal Police ticketed Clarissa E. Cook, 44, of Akwesasne, Ont. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 21.

Aggravated unlicensed operation - Tribal Police charged Gerald C. McDonald, 52, of Hogansburg with aggravated unlicensed operation, fail to stop at stop sign, operate motor vehicle by unlicensed driver and operate unregistered motor vehicle on highway. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court on Oct. 21.

Following too close - Tribal Police ticketed Dionisios Scrivanos, 71, of Lancaster, Ont. for following too close. He is to appear in Tribal Court on Oct. 20.

Speeding - Tribal Police ticketed six motorists for the infraction: Randall C. Cook, 62, of Malone; Joanne C. Johnson, 49, of Akwesasne, Que.; Freeman M. Oakes, 18, of Akwesasne, N.Y.; Savannah G. Thomas, 23, of Hogansburg; Russel Jazzar, 74, of Brassard, Que.; Zachery S. Dunn, 20, of Bombay.

Inadequate headlights - Tribal Police ticketed Barbara R. Bennett, 62, of Cornwall Ont. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 20.

Using an electronic device while driving - Tribal Police ticketed Andrea L. McGregor, 31, of Massena and additionally cited her for failure to use designated lane. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 3.

No brake lights - Tribal Police ticketed Karissa A. Cook 31 of Hogansburg for no stop lights. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 21.

Third-degree criminal mischief - State troopers say they charged a Hogansburg man with a felony for allegedly damaging property valued at more than $250 during an alleged Sept. 20 incident. Lindsay George, 37, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief at 12:55 p.m. Sept. 24. Calvin O. Thomas, 24, of Massena is charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief in connection with the alleged incident, troopers said.

POSSESSION OF DRUGS, POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kayla Clute, 24 of Kahnawake was arrested on October 4th, 2014 and charged with possession of hydromorphone, marihuana, brass knuckles and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on October 4th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the woman who was taken into custody at the port of entry for being in possession of the items. She was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Snye, Quebec man was arrested on October 5th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that the man failed to attend court on March 8th, 2014 for possession of marihuana and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 5th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the man as he had been taken into custody at the port of entry on the strength of the warrant. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the original charge stems from when the man was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MISSING PERSON – REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE

The Cornwall Community Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in locating 67 year old Robert J. Seguin of Cornwall, Ontario.

He was last seen on October 3, 2014 by his family in the area of Seventh Street West. He may require medical attention. Foul pay is not suspected in his disappearance. Police are looking to confirm his well-being.

Description: 5'6", 130 lbs., short grey hair, no teeth, no facial hair, likely wearing blue jeans with a black jacket and burgundy sweater.

Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police received a call on September 27, 2014 from Tribal Police informing Dispatch of an assault that took place in AMPS jurisdiction. The victim was transported to the Massena Memorial Hospital by Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance unit suffering from head and facial injuries. Police investigation is ongoing.

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police received a report shortly after midnight on September 28, 2014 of a boating accident on the St. Lawrence River near Clark Island. Police determined that the accident occurred approximately 9:39 pm on September 27, 2014 and the four occupants of the vessel managed to escape with minimal to no injuries reported at that time. Then vessel was submerged due to the heavy damage resulting from hitting the buoy.
