Functional Responsibilities and Duties:
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director and the general supervision of the Head Cook at the respective school, the Trainee will assist the Head Cook in the daily preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, salad bar and afternoon snacks for AMBE students. The Trainee is also responsible for helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the cafeteria and kitchen areas. The Kitchen Aide Trainee may also be asked to complete other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Must have a secondary school diploma (Grade 12) or its equivalent, a clear criminal reference check and valid driver’s license are required. Must be 30 years of age or younger and a member of the Mohawks of Akwesasne.
