The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is holding Information Meetings in each district on the aforementioned dates to discuss the Proposed Akwesasne Tekaia’torehthà:ke Kaianerénhsera (Akwesasne
Court Law).
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne ratified Resolution2014/2015-#122 accepting in principle the Akwesasne Tekaia’torehthà:ke Kaianerénhsera (Akwesasne Court Law) for Phase II.
The Law Enactment Procedural Regulation – Phase II Community Consultation requires the scheduling of Information Meetings in each district for the purpose of considering the proposed Akwesasne Tekaia’torehthà:ke Kaianerénhsera (Akwesasne Court Law).

Kaianerénhsera (Akwesasne Court Law) have been scheduled for the following dates, times and locations:
District of Kawehno:ke - Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Tri-District Elders Building
District of Tsi Snaihne - Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Snye Recreation Centre
District of Kana:takon - Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 1:30pm-3:30pm at the Kana:takon Recreation Centre;
These information meetings will be recorded by Council’s designate with comments and other relevant matters to be incorporated into further revisions prior to resubmission to Council.
The Working Task Group on the proposed draft Akwesasne Tekaia’torehthà:ke Kaianerénhsera (Akwesasne Court Law) will be in attendance at the information meetings.
