To the editor;

This year, the American Legion Riders from Post #925 (Norfolk) held a charity motorcycle ride to benefit the Wounded Warrior Program of the 10th Mountain Division Association of Watertown, NY. We were able to present a check to them for $4840. Raising this much money for such a good cause would not have been possible without the wonderful support of our communities and the dedicated work of our members. We would like to acknowledge the selfless contributions that were made by the following individuals, organizations, and local businesses: American Legion Post #925 (Norfolk), American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #925, American Legion Post #1479 (Hogansburg), American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #1479 (Hogansburg), AMVETs Post 265 (Parishville), AMVETs Post 1997 (Heuvelton), Bassette’s Liquor and Wines, Baxter’s One Stop Auto, Bob Beckstead, Best Western, Brewer Bookstore at SLU, Canton Auto Parts, Al and Linda Carpenter, Cascade Inn, Coakley’s, Copperhead Cycle, Custom Oil Change, Donna’s Hair Studio, Emlaw Tire and Auto Repair, Fabulous Finds Boutique and Consignment, Hotel Grande, Lowe’s of Potsdam, J.C.
