AKWESASNE COMMUNITY FUND CALL OUT

The Akwesasne Community Fund Review Team, on behalf of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA), is pleased to announce a new call out for applications for funding from the Akwesasne Community Fund.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne has set up the Akwesasne Community

Fund to provide financial support for community based, not-for-profit organizations and groups who are located and/or operate in the portion of Akwesasne coming under the jurisdiction of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. This call out will have $150,000.00 available for distribution.

The Akwesasne Community Fund guidelines and application forms may be picked up at the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Administration 1 Building located at 12 Akwesasne Street in Kana:takon (St. Regis Village). The forms and information are also available on-line at the website of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne at http://www.akwesasne.ca.

The deadline for receipt of applications will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 11th, 2014 - No exceptions will be allowed. Late submissions will not be accepted. Completed applications are to be delivered to the MCA’S Administration 1 Bldg. in Kana:takon (St. Regis Village).

Please note that organizations who have received funding from past call outs of the Akwesasne Community Fund must have submitted a final report for that funding in order to be eligible to receive funding under this new call out.
