On Saturday July 19, Tribal Police Community Resource Officer PJ Burns participated in "Fishing for Special Needs" and took youth and adults with special needs fishing in the St. Lawrence River in Akwesasne territory.

The event was put on by the Include Program, a program out of Cornwall, ON that seeks to enrich the lives of people with special needs. Program Coordinator Art Levert Jr. created the event to fundraise for the Include Program's Clubhouse and contacted Burns to see if he would captain a boat. Burns took participants on a pontoon, and you can tell by the pictures they had a blast! PJ said, "Fishing for Special Needs is something special that we should experience because what we take for granted might mean the world to someone else."
