An official Fund Raising Committee for the Elders of Iakhihsohtha has been created!  The first order of business is raising funds to purchase a new bus & garage for the Totas.  The first fundraiser was two Stanley Cup boards - the $10/square winner was Lawrence Martin; and the $20/square winner was Margaret LaFrance.  Congratulations to the winners and NIAWENHKO:WA to the many community members who helped the committee members ~ your time and your commitment to our elders is appreciated beyond words. Bishop Noel Simard of the Valleyfield diocese is going to be visiting Iakhihsohtha on Saturday, June 21!  Please join Father Anthony and the bishop at 2:00 p.m. for a Sacrament of the Sick and Communion service with the residents.

Thursday community Bingo:  Progressive jackpots - Mini = $350, Jackpot = $680.  Tota bank = $23.  Join the Totas at 7:00 p.m. for bingo, refreshments, and fun.  Bingo packages are $10/$15/$20

IMPORTANT REMINDER: RSVP your attendance to all of our events and inform the kitchen staff if you will be joining your family member for lunch or supper before 10:00am, so that the kitchen staff can make the proper adjustments. Thank You.

Bishop Noel Simard (Valleyfield Diocese) will be visiting Akwesasne on June 21st, one of his first stops will be Tsiionkwanonhso:te. While there He will preside over a Holy Mass and Sacrament for the Sick at 11:45. Staff and residence invite all community members, family and friends to join them at this very special time.

On behalf of the residents of Tsiionkwanonhso:te, Niawen:kowa to Darlene Delormier for the donation of rhubarb; to the Rotary Club (via Jeremiah Point) for the donation of 33 dozen roses!
