Hourly Salary: Pay Band 6 Step 1-3 - $38,783.65 - $47,748.51
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for operational tasks related to treatment and delivery of potable water for our community and treatment and discharge of wastewater for our environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Grade 12 or GED; w/ Five (5) years experience in various related trade work or building system maintenance an asset. To include but not limited to plumbing, air conditioning, electrical, building construction, heating systems. Class 1 Water and Wastewater Operator License(s).
The incumbent must have knowledge of operation and maintenance of Water/Wastewater Treatment plants and infrastructures. Be knowledgeable of standard laboratory test methods for water treatment processes. The incumbent must be proficient in both basic math principles and computer programs such as Excel, Word and Access programs. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle during the course of employment.
