REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE

Annual Salary: RPN01- $47,650.98 to $62,577.80

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent consults and collaborates with health professionals and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate clinical telemedicine services for clients. To utilize the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to increase efficiency of service delivery in order to provide high quality services for clients as close to home as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have an RPN Diploma and be a registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario and Ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec (College of Nurses in Quebec) or eligible to register for a permit; must have current certification in First Aid and CPR. Must obtain and maintain an Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) Certification for providing patient care via telemedicine.  Maintain clinical competence in caring for patients for a broad spectrum of care, supporting the ethical delivery of care.
