St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police issued the following tickets between March 18 and 23:

Fail to keep right - Briana S.L. Maldonado, 26 of Constable after a traffic stop on March 18.

Speeding - Jamie Williams, 43 of Honesdale, Penn. for speeding on March 18 on state Route 37. 

Inadequate head, tail lights - Carl B. Rathwell, 58 of Chesterville, Ont. on March 18.

Inadequate stop lamp - Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Katherine Lazore, 33 of Hogansburg on March 19. 

Inadequate headlight - Emma L. Shenandoah, 34 of Hogansburg on March 19. 

Inadequate headlight - Leona A. Phillips, 40 of Hogansburg on March 19. 

Inadequate headlight - Louis M. David, 27 of Martintown, Ont. on March 20. 

Failure to obey traffic device - Monique Riopel, 66 of Saint Anicet, Que. on March 21. 

Pot possession - Jordan C. Strathdee, 22 of Ogdensburg charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on March 22. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court. 

Inadequate stop lamp, failure to use designated lane - Marissa E. Catlin, 22 of Ogdensburg after a traffic stop on March 22. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court. 

Speeding - Craig F. L. Roundpoint, 27 of Akwesasne, Ont. on March 23. 

Tribal Police made the following arrests between March 18 and 23:

Hypodermic instrument - Angelea D. Maldonado, 23 of Constable charged with consuming alcohol in motor vehicle, possession of hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on March 18. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court.

DWAI - Wahiahawi C. Barreiro, 38 of Hogansburg was charged on March 21 for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while ability impaired by alcohol and inadequate headlights. Her blood alcohol content was allegedly .05 percent. She was released on appearance tickets for Bombay Town Court. 

AUO - Trish D. Keese, 37 of Rooseveltown was charged second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unsafe passing on left and failure to obey a police officer on March 21. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court.

Petit larceny - Bobby J. Pierce, 26 of North Bangor was charged with petit larceny after an alleged incident on March 21. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court

DWI - Catherine J. Leaf, 48 of Hogansburg was charged on March 22 with driving while intoxicated -first offense, refusal to take breath test, failure to use designated lane and unsafe turn/failure to signal. She was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released on her own recognizance to appear on April 15.

Criminal use of drug paraphernalia - Quinn X. Hall, 24, of West Chazy was charged with second-degree criminal use of a drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on state Route 37 on March 22. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court. 

Petit larceny - Shyla H. Cook, 23 of Akwesasne, Que. was charged with petit larceny on March 22. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court. 

AMPS ARREST

On Saturday March 22 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service executed an arrest warrant on John Stacey Boots. Mr. Boots was wanted on two counts of Mischief. Mr. Boots was turned over to the Ontario Provincial Police service who initiated the original charges.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE, ARMED ROBBERY

The Cornwall Community Police Service is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at around 5pm on March 23rd, 2014 at the Tim Horton’s Ninth and Pitt Street location. On this date a lone person who concealed their face with either a scarf or the collar of the jacket entered the store while brandishing a hand gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect in the matter is described as 5’4”, thin build and speaking English with no accent. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a snow/ski jacket described as having the lower half purple and blue in color, while the top half had a black and white checkered pattern resembling a racing flag. The suspect was also wearing blue jeans and a black toque with black sun glasses on top of the toque. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money possibly making their way towards the Farm Boy parking lot.
