Evelyn Mitchell passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was 89 years. Dear mother of Larry, David (Jackie), James, Esther, Margaret, Darlene. Survived by one sister Sarah Day. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband John Mitchell, a son, Noah Mitchell, her daughter Gladys Smoke, her parents, Peter and Elizabeth (Bonspeil) Thompson, sisters, Agatha “Hattie” Thompson, Mary Seymour, Mary May Martin, Theresa David, and brothers Joseph and John Thompson. Visitation at her residence on Thursday and Friday. Funeral on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home at 11am. Burial to follow at Parish Cemetery, St. Regis.
