Nolan Terrance Awarded Jr. Sportsman of the Year

It was a great night on Wednesday May 9th at the 49th Cornwall Lions Club Sports Awards Dinner held at the Best Western Conference Center in Cornwall.  Nolan Terrance was awarded a co-winner for the 2013 Jr. Sportsman of the Year for Wildcats Football.  Nolan currently plays football for both the OVFL Cornwall Wildcats and Massena Central High School.

OVFL Wildcats football highlights include:

2010 bantam champions

2011 bantam conference champions

2012 OVFL offensive lineman MVP

2012 National Capital Amateur all star participant

2013 OVFL prospect game participant

2013 Lions Club Jr. Sportsman of the Year Award

NY Team trials, Team Atway placed 1st in Freestyle Tournament, Nolan Terrance placed 2nd individually.

Section X league champions with an 8-0 season football

 It has also been an exciting few weeks of wrestling for Nolan Terrance. On Saturday May 4th he traveled to Kahnawake, PQ for the Quebec National Team tryouts and was selected for the team.  He will participate in the Canada Games in Sherbrooke, PQ from August 2-9th. This past weekend he traveled to Binghamton, NY for the Team New York trials. Nolan placed second this weekend in both the freestyle and Greco Roman tournaments, qualifying him to be a member of Team New York for the Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND in July.  

Nolan is currently in his sophomore year at Massena Central High School and the son of Alexandra and Jason David.
