SPECIAL PROJECTS OFFICER
FULL TIME TERM POSITION (2 YEAR) (with the possibility of permanency) TEHOTIIENNAWA:KON / ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Salary Level: SP 05 $47,852.00- $51,757.00
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director, the incumbent is responsible for providing management support, expert advice and assistance to the Director and the senior management of the organization by: coordinating special projects; participating in committees, leading working groups and teams; and carrying out recurring tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Native Studies, Business Administration or related discipline; together with five (5) to ten (10) years work-related experience including supervisory/management experience;
The incumbent must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft computer software applications including Word and Excel required. Ability to research, network and be able to analyze documents. Knowledge of the Mohawk culture and Mohawk language is considered an asset.
