Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Lady motorists all over town will be smiling—and driving safer this Valentine’s Day if Casey Swamp, owner of Swamp’s Performance Automotive, has his away. He and the staff are doing something special this February for the women in our community.

They are sponsoring a “Love Your Ride” day February 14th. Ladies will receive their choice of a $4.00 oil change with a 27-point safety inspection, or a $4.00 tire rotation with brake and suspension inspection at 261 Frogtown Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This promotion is being kicked off by their third Ladies Car Care Clinic- Love Your Ride, which will be held the night before in two shifts: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The clinic will be all hands on for participants; teaching ladies how to change their own oil, tires and other fluids. Prizes, give-a-ways and snacks will be provided and each lady will leave with a goodie bag.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 20,000,000 cars on the road have some sort of safety defect. After a recent owners training program which he attended, Casey Swamp and his staff decided that they were going to take the responsibility for the safety and road-worthiness of cars and light trucks in the 518 area.

“Our shop may be the only one in town being decorated for Valentine’s Day,” according to Swamp’s Performance Automotive’s marketing representative Marissa Vickers. “We’ve never done this before, but our schedule is already filling up. We want to make it easy for people around here to find out about any problem their cars have and correct any safety defect there may be.”
