Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

The statue of St. Kateri that found a new home at the Kateri Hall in Hogansburg, was blessed by Father Jerome Pastores on Sat., Nov. 24th before any activities went on in the Hall.

Starting at 8 a.m. the statue and pouches of tobacco, sage and sweetgrass for all participants to take to their homes was blessed and then the Mohawk Choir sang.

Many volunteers were involved, and many donations were received to make this new statue of Saint Kateri a reality at the Hall.

In the future, a complete list of volunteers and donations will be printed.
