Annual Salary: Pay Band 8 ($47,931.34 - $59,010.51)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Tehotiiennawakon, the Arena Manager is responsible for the operation, and day-to-day management of the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena including programs, developing and marketing profitable programs of interest, concession, and business plan development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College or University program in Business Management or in a discipline related to facility operation with three years experience; or an equivalent combination of education/training and five (5) years experience in business or related field.
Incumbent must have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project management skills. The incumbent must market and promote the facility, schedule arena time, negotiate contracts and deal with the public. Must adhere to the strict principles of confidentiality, be dependable and reliable. Must implement and ensure that an effective maintenance program is in place and concession is operated in an efficient manner. The incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use own personal vehicle during course of employment.
