RPN Scale: $46,946.78 - $61,653.00

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will be part of the supervisory/management team, the RPN position will be responsible for all aspects of nursing care and directs the work of nursing and personal care staff in the assigned unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certificate in competence as a Registered Practical Nurse / RPN from the College of Nurses of Ontario, a current license with College of Nurses of Ontario and a minimum of two years supervisory experience in long term care or hospital/acute care setting.

Compliance with MCA Public Health policies, adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Home, the Resident Bill of Rights, a uniform dress code and Oath of Confidentiality. Incumbent must be willing/able to work weekends and holidays in accordance with the scheduling needs of the facility and to be able to work shift work. Mohawk language considered an asset.
