Description of Position:  Actively support and uphold the Tribe’s and Animal Control’s mission and values. Perform a variety of duties involved in the enforcement of Tribal Ordinances and regulations relating to animal control and impounding; responsible for the care and control of animal shelter.

Qualifications:  Associates degree in a related field preferred.  High School diploma or GED with three years work experience within an animal related field is acceptable.  Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid New York State driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.  Must be physically fit and able to chase and subdue fleeing animals and to carry injured or deceased animals.  Must obtain National Animal Control Association Level 1 - 3 and certifiable in performing euthanasia of animals and vector control.
