MOHAWK COUNCIL OF AKWESASNE CALL FOR PROPOSALS TOBACCO PRODUCT REGULATION GOVERNANCE STUDY

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, Department of Tehotiiennawakon is seeking written proposals for Consulting Services to undertake a Tobacco Product Regulation Governance Study and provide recommendations on how a new tobacco products governance regulatory model could be implemented.

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

General

The cost for the study submitted in the Consultant’s proposal shall include all necessary expenditures to undertake all the required work outlined in these Terms of References and in the Consultant’s Proposal.

Qualifications

The Consultant shall include in his/her Proposal; resumes for each member of his/her project team and identify the portions of the study to be undertaken by each member of this team.

The proposal shall identify any other Consultants and their qualifications, which are intended to be utilized in the study.

Methodology

The Proposal shall contain an outline of the proposed methodology that the Consultant proposes to utilize in undertaking the study.

Timing

The Proposal shall include a time table estimating completion dates for integral points of the Study.

The Consultant shall complete the study within two (2) months of the project’s start date; starting date is negotiable.

The Consultant will estimate the amount of time the study team will spend on site in Akwesasne.

PROPOSAL DEADLINE

Proposals will be accepted until 4:00pm, Friday June 22, 2012.

The Consultant shall forward five (5) copies of his/her Proposal to the attention of:
