Duties:
Maintain a professional attitude and environment
Establish a trusting relationship with parents and staff
Must be able to make decisions and conduct meetings effectively
Follow established work culture as set by the Akwesasne Freedom School
Participate in meetings and curriculum committees
and help to reinforce parent committees
Must be able to read and understand any financial reports
Under direct supervision of parent committee
Must be able to write reports and proposals for funding
Will provide guidance and discipline if need be
All expenditures must be brought before parent committee
Qualifications
Experience in management is essential
Must know and support the Mission of the Akwesasne Freedom School:

Must have initiative and be willing to continue to learn along with the students, the Kahniakehake culture and must have Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
Only fluent speakers of the Kahniakeha language need apply.
