Cornwall, ON- Mickey Delormier, 22 of Akwesasne was arrested on May 9th, 2012. She was bound by an Undertaking and a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 6th of May, 2012 she attended a Ninth Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the concealed items. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Theft under $5000.00, breach of Undertaking and breach of Probation Order. She was released to appear in court on the 12th of June, 2012 to answer to the charges.
FAIL TO STOP, DANGEROUS DRIVING & POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Akwesasne youth was arrested on May 10th, 2012. It is alleged that on April 21st, 2012 he failed to stop for police while operating a stolen vehicle. Police conducted an investigation and identified the driver. He was located and charged with fail to stop for police, dangerous driving as well as possession of stolen property over $5000. The youth was released to an adult to appear in court on May 31st, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
DOMESTIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- A 23-year-old Akwesasne male was arrested on May 12th, 2012. It is alleged that on May 12th, 2012 he attended his 22-year-old girlfriend’s residence where he got into an altercation with her and caused damage to her property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief and released to appear in court on May 29th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
Cornwall, ON- Laura Boots, 24 of Akwesasne was arrested on May 14th, 2012 under the strength of two outstanding warrants. It is alleged that she failed to appear in court on October 31st, 2012 and November 4th, 2012 and bench warrants were sought. She was held in custody until court later that day.
