BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - A Hogansburg man released from custody after completing a jail sentence in the Franklin County Jail had a ride waiting for him. State police transported Dane J. Garrow (Cook), 26, to Massena Tuesday evening, where he had two outstanding bench warrants for failure to appear in court on a fourth-degree grand larceny count and a third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle charge. He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond on the grand larceny charge and $250 cash on the aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle count. In a statement he signed for police 10 days later, Printup said bail had not been posted and he had not seen or heard from Garrow. “I attempted numerous times to contact Dane to get my vehicle back but was unsuccessful,” he noted in his statement to police.
