Niawen: kowa

I would like to thank everyone who helped me pay for my tuition and travel expenses for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference being held from September 25th - 30th in Washington, D.C. I am very excited and honored to have been chosen to represent the St. Regis Mohawk School and New York State at this conference.

During this time, I will visit the Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans and Museum of American History along with getting a V.I.P. tour of other historic sites and attend a sleepover at the Maryland Science Center. I will also get to meet and learn from some of today’s leaders in Washington. I would not have been able to attend if it were not for the generous donations from the following people and businesses:

Grandma Alice & Grandpa Kevin

Gus Pyke & Ononkwasona Pharmacy

Mohawk Council of Akwesasne

The Village Currency Exchange

The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe

The Akwesasne Area Management Board

Brave Packaging

Once again, Niawen: kowa!
