Mrs. Hilda Marie Arquette Hackett, age 74 of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of Akwesasne died Wednesday September 8, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta GA.

Mrs. Hackett was born in Akwesasne. NY on September 3. 1936. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay. Hilda is preceded in

death by her parents, Louis and Ethel Arquette, and infant brother, Louis and infant sister, Ellenmarie and three sisters. June Arquette, Mary Terrance and Alberta Linda Jacobs.

Hilda is survived by her loving husband. Jim Martin Hackett, sons and daughter-in-laws: James Henry Hackett of Lockport, NY, Wayne Hackett of Lockport NY, Mark and Mary Hackett of Myrtle Beach, SC; by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren: sisters and brothers in-law: Ann & Edward Terrance, Akwesasne NY; Cecelia Laffin, Rochester NY; Delena & Frederick Reyome, Rochester NY; brother Alex Arquette. Akwesasne NY; brother-in-law: Charles Jacobs, Akwesasne NY.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church of Ellijay, GA. Visitation was held at the Bernhardt Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Good Samaritan Catholic Church Building Fund, 25 Church St. Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mrs. Hackett.
