Notice to the Community

This is to inform the community that the following persons have applied for Membership under the Akwesasne Membership Code:

Aaneva Lazore, age 17, daughter of Roger Lazore (Akwesasne) and Georgina Michell Lazore (Pavillion Band).

Aaron Thompson, age 18, son of Bridgette Thompson (Akwesasne) and Fred Halloway, a non-native.

Ryanne Duciaume, age 16, daughter of Tracey Lynn Buckshot (Akwesasne) and Scott Duciaume, a non-native.

Kayla Sunday, age 16, daughter of Peter Sunday (Akwesasne) and Nancy Blanchet Sunday, a non-Indian.

Devin Colon, age 17, son of Katrina Jacobs (Akwesasne) and David Colon, a non-native

Francis Ingle, age 28, has applied for a Residency Permit. He is the son of Louise Back Ingle (Akwesasne) and Stephen Ingle, a non-native.

Monica Montoya, age 40, is a Probationary Member, the Membership Board is now considering granting her full Akwesasne. She is the daughter of Lorraine Canoe and Frank Montoya. Monica is currently registered with the Mohawks of Kahnawake.

Community members have until Friday, October 2, 2009 to indicate whether they wish to make submissions regarding the above applicants.
