Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Barbara Herne, age 63, passed away on October 23, 2008. She was born on November 8, 1945, the daughter of the late Abram D. and Margaret L. (Lazore) Herne. She is survived by her companion Hopper Johnson, by two sons Kevin Fernandez and Christopher Herne and three grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers; Abram, Richard and Dexter, by sisters Linda Merryweather, Anna Mae Cleary, and Ruth. She was predeceased by sisters Donna Herne and Mary Louise Neufang. Friends called at Greenleaf Funeral Home, 503 W. Onondaga St. in Syracuse, NY, until her burial at the Onondaga Nation Cemetery.
