Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Yet again another stunning novel by Nicholas Sparks who really knows how to pull on your heartstrings. I have found that with Nicholas Sparks’ novels you experience love through his eyes. This is one of my favorite books by him.

This is the story of Travis Parker and Gabby Holland. Travis, age 36, has never really been in love; his friends tell him that he is afraid of commitment because he can’t sustain a lasting relationship with a woman. He, as with all people with this problem, denies it. This all changes when Gabby Holland moves in next door and he experiences a feeling he hasn’t felt before. They meet under awkward circumstances and Gabby did not want anything to do with her new neighbor. Gabby soon realizes that there is a lot more to Travis then meets the eye. They start to spend time together as friends, and then later, they realize that they have feelings for one another. There is one catch; Gabby is already in a relationship of two years with a man that she thinks she loves. So Gabby is forced to make a very difficult choice.

Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. He makes you experience these stories as if they were his own. He makes you smile and cry. You will never be disappointed with his books, they are brilliant.
