Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

She:kon. My name is Rachel Jacobs, I am 20 years old and I am a new reporter for Akwesasne's Indian Time Newspaper. I studied General Arts and Sciences at Algonquin College, where I plan to return next fall to pursue a career in journalism. I enjoy reading, writing, playing guitar, and spending time with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I'm the oldest of five kids, a Taurus, and I can be a little shy sometimes, but I love to try new things! I love watching a good football game. (Go Packers!) I'd also love to travel the world and to start a band someday. I love to meet new people and to visit places, so I hope to see you around!
