    The Massena varsity football team narrowly won their first game of the year and the varsity volleyball team maintained an undefeated record. The football victory was against Canton on Sept. 29 in Massena with a 31-30 final score. Montana Pierce went 6-8 passing for 111 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception.
