    As much as I try to keep track of every little milestone that Little Brother reaches, I feel like I’m failing miserably. I have the calendar where I wrote what foods he ate when. Post-it notes here and there about when he first got a tooth, crawled, or seemed to say his first word. I have two baby books. One is Big Brother’s and the other is Little Brother’s.     The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Early Childhood Education Program welcomed students to their Headstart facility last week for the new school year. The mostly 3-year-olds had mixed reactions of excitement and crying as they experienced their first school day.     Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in providing a safe environment for participants in the Parade of Nations as well as the spectators viewing the parade. The parade will leave St. Lawrence College and travel west on Montreal Road and Water Street to the Civic Complex parking lot.     The open tryouts for the Iroquois Nationals Men’s Lacrosse Team will culminate on Sunday, October 4th at the St. Regis Mohawk School in Akwesasne. This final open try out will begin at 9am with registration. Field practice begins at 10am and runs through noon, then back for an afternoon session from 1:30-3:30. The fee is 50.00 dollars and each participant will be given an Iroquois Nationals reversible jersey, which is theirs to keep.     On Saturday and Sunday, the Malone Mustangs/Huskies Youth Football Teams sponsored a tournament inviting area teams. The beautiful weather accounted for the large amount of spectators on hand at the Malone Airport Field. The Massena teams were very successful as they played in the championship games.
