On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, the 6th annual breastfeeding walk took place at the Generations Park. This year was different, as it was a breastfeeding poker walk. Registration took place at 5:00-5:30 pm, with a meal provided at 6:00 pm. Participants had the opportunity to visit the different programs that were set up. On Saturday August 5th, 2017 the American Legion Post 1479 held their 3rd Annual Homemade Raft Race. The day started with registration beginning at 11 am, at the old cheese factory area with a $10 registration fee to participate. Rafts had to be homemade with no motors. The day began at 11am with musical entertainment and food and craft vendors set up throughout the NNATC grounds.
