On Friday, February 2, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., the Akwesasne Mohawk Police executed a search warrant at a Kawehno:ke residence subject to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. Upon entry and a subsequent search, police located two loaded handguns.
