  • Entertainment Binge

    Mar 2, 2023

By Isaac White. I’m reviewing another movie this week, but in the spirit of being forthright, the movie I’m going to fully review because I watched the whole thing is The Woman King. Originally, I had planned on reviewing We Have A Ghost but that changed about halfway through the film. We’ll get to The Woman King here soon, but I just felt the need to say something about We Have A Ghost. This isn’t one of the worst movies ever made or anything like that, but my wife and I abandoned the picture because it was simply not good. And I don’t m...

    Mar 2, 2023

By Marc Silver. NCPR. The family of Jimmy Carter last week announced that the former president, a cancer survivor who had been in the hospital for undisclosed reasons, was heading home for hospice care. That means those tending him will not take extraordinary measures to prolong his life, but will instead try to minimize pain and provide peace of mind in his last days. Carter’s decision offers a startling contrast to the way serious illness is often characterized when people face a medical crisis. The word of choice in many media stories and i...

It is estimated to be present in more than 100 products. “There is evidence that it may be toxic to human consumers, that it may even either initiate or promote...
