The Salmon River boys and girls varsity basketball teams honored their seniors last week during the last home game of the regular season. The Shamrock boys hosted Ogdensburg on Tuesday, February 2nd, but fell to the Blue Devils, 31-63. The Blue Devils ran out to an early 25-5 lead by the end of the first quarter and were ahead 39-15 by half time before closing out the game with a 63-31win. The Wolves held Rebels off with no score until just over half way through second period with 9 skaters. This little wolf pack has grown and come together nicely over the season and they represent Akwesasne well. Their season record is 16 wins, 28 losses and 2 ties.
