Fort Covington - The Salmon River Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell short to the Massena Red Raiders 74-38. The Massena Red Raiders started off the game quickly by building a quick 7 point lead. On December 29 at the Anowara’ko:wa Arena, the Akwesasne Wolves and the Morrisburg Lions squared off in a game that was rife with seemingly steady trips to the box, as seems to be the norm between these two teams because they don’t like each other. Over the weekend of December 14 and 15, the SRCS girl’s varsity basketball team traveled to Harrisville to participate in a tournament. They left Harrisville on Saturday with the tournament crown.
