Summary

As a promotion representative your goal is to achieve the maximum sales and growth within the assigned territory by effectively promoting company products and/or services through a relationship-based approach.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Develop a clear understanding of new brands and product lines; communicate said understanding to potential customers

· Establish and maintain business relations with current and potential customers

· Represent a product/service for in-person sales with retailers

· Engage in direct interaction with consumers to deliver key messaging, product features and benefits

· Plan, schedule and execute all in-store promotions to maximize exposure

· Update and maintain monthly promotion schedule with minimal interruption

· Organize and maintain all promotional merchandise inventory

· Distribute, implement and maintain any marketing materials to retail establishments

· Address any issues and concerns that may arise

· Assess sales efforts and promotion effectiveness

· Promotion Summary Reports (templates provided) must be completed after each promotion to document activities and materials given away, maintain accuracy of promotional material inventory

· Promotion Evaluation Form (provided) must be provided to customers, completed, and returned at each event

· Weekly Summary Report (template provided) must be completed to document sales efforts

· Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Must be skilled and effective at promoting sales; outgoing, engaging, and assertive personality an asset.

· Company vehicle provided for transportation for most events; in event of unavailability of company vehicle, Promo Rep must utilize personal transportation and receive reimbursement.

· Lifting of materials up to 30lbs required.
