Jenna Clute, daughter of William and Danielle Clute of Akwesasne, has received the prestigious honor of being selected to perform at the NYSSMA All State Conference in Rochester, NY on December 6, 2014. Jenna is a senior at Salmon River Central School. In May of 2014, Jenna sang a level 6 song in front of judges at the NYSSMA audition. She received a score of 100 on her singing and a 99 on her sight reading. A level 6 audition is the most difficult and highest level. In order to become recommended for conference, students have to have a score of 98 or above. The selection process is very difficult and only the best student musicians in the state are chosen. Jenna has been selected to sing in the women's choir. She has been an active member of the drama club, band and chorus at Salmon River, under the instruction of Emily Robideau. She will graduate in June 2015.
