Congratulations to the Akwesasne Storm U22 and U11 Ontario Provincial Lacrosse Silver medal winner. It wasn't the outcome everyone hopes for, bringing home the gold is impressive, but playing with every ounce of energy, playing with honor and great sportsmanship is everything.

After a tremendous run for both teams, with both teams going undefeated through the Ontario Provincials, the U22 ended up losing the last game 8-4 to West Durham, with the U11 losing to West Durham 6-3.

These young Akwesasnronon lacrosse players worked hard all year for their silver medal, putting in extra time at every practice running, working on their shooting at home, watching a lot of lacrosse, and absorbing every bit of information shared with them from the Jr Thunder players, as well as other older players, past players, and professionals they've met along the way.

A shout out goes to all of the parents, stepparents, grandparents, aunties, and uncles along the way who support these players, and of course their coaching staff.
