SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the security and safety of clients through the provision of program services. The Counselor Aide is also responsible to provide supervision on shift and also responsible for client monitoring within the program plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two year Social Services Worker or equivalent diploma with three (3) years’ experience working with women, men, and children in crisis;

• Education/experience in mental health and addictions;

• Certification as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAC) is an asset.
